I use no paint to delineate the pattern but work freehand embroidery onto self colour cloth to make the plumage both on the front and the back of the doll. Beneath her dress she has a tiny embroidered tail with her wings also heavily embroidered. Rowan is dressed in a pretty Liberty tana lawn cotton called Wild Flower in a rich pattern of wild flowersin pinks and oranges on a cream ground. Beneath her dress are broderie anglais drawers and two layers of cotton and tulle underskirts. One in pale pink gingham and the other in cream tulle.  Her dress is finished with buttons and ribbon and she carries a little embroidery sampler with a tiny bullfinch hoop brooch you can remove and wear yourself. She has a little brass ring to her back so she can hang. She has a piece of rose quartz to her heart with rosemary in her stuffing for a gentle fragrance.\n\nThese little birds are tiny, to just sit in your hand and are less than 20cm talll.\n\nShe is, as are all my girls, warm and companiable with a touch of English whimsy. I hope she makes you smile. Please remember she is not a toy and not suitable for children.","brand":"Pooks Studio","product_id":8695717,"availability":"in stock","quantity":1,"product_expiration":"2027-01-16T14:45:48+00:00","images":["https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-de8ddd286fc182abd6abf571fd5d45f5-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-8cad2f5638d4e1de56b465141cc4b1f6-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-5cfbad478a5d5a623309d0ee8c7b996a-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-6424c7cbfe2b3cdf849fa7373076f9d0-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-7c8a188718c55799692fd6fbc2afc4d7-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-5fac3b8b37fe701f1058d624d34ac11d-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-fe104d1fc080c1a23798fcbcfb24e43e-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-0dcc56eb7afe42bd0cc009232fb05836-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-5ebe9b3e62552dbf29cb30ee2b21bd71-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-cd0fa205ffd81c3bf3483125ce825cb0-rowan-a-tiny-hand-embroidered-bullfinch-folk-art-doll-pooks-studio/public"]}
