For this hand-built vase I went one step further and also set thinly rolled, dry clay into it to produce a crackled effect. After bisque firing I gave it a wash of blue underglaze all over then wiped it back from the surface to highlight the texture before glazing the inside and firing it again to 1240C. \nHeight approx 19cm. Turn it around from time to time and enjoy a different view!
