The design is made using a technique where colored clays are stacked and items pressed in to push colours through. The clay is finely sliced and a slab is gradually created.\nOnce the clay has been cured I have sanded with wet and dry paper, using various grades until creating a smooth shiny finish.\nDue to the technique used there are still some slight indentations, as I sometimes use a very sharp knife to create the pattern. \nThis process is labour intensive and a slow process.\n\nThe earrings will be placed in a cardboard box designed to fit in your letterbox.
