It really doesn't have to be for anything other than the pure pleasure of creating something by hand, but if you like, you can stitch your piece to put in a frame, use as a patch to sew onto a bag or clothing, or add to the front of a journal or sketchbook. These are just a few ideas, but you may think of others.\n\nThe kit includes a selection of plain, striped and patterned fabrics in red, beige, white and blues, 2 metre lengths of embroidery floss in four colours to match, a needle and needle threader.\n\nYour own scissors and pins may also be helpful.\n\nYour finished piece will measure approximately 13cm x 13cm.
