I love to watch the colours peeking up and over the coastline and throwing out reflections on the watery sands. This piece was inspired by one of those mornings.\n \nHere I am experimenting with batik, the technique of using wax as a resist. \nFirst I applied  the wax, then I let the paints move freely across the silk. This allows the colours to spread and blend naturally.
