The exterior is hand-finished through several stages and polished with a plant-based wax sealer for a soft satin finish. The interior is sealed with varnish for durability. Each piece is individually made and finished by hand and may feature visible surface texture, air bubbles, colour variation and slight differences in size or shape as part of its handmade character. A large felt pad on the base helps protect surfaces.\n\nThis pot doesn't have a drainage hole and is intended for indoor use with a plastic nursery pot.\n\nA pot with a drainage hole, suitable for outdoor use or in a different colour can be made on request. A custom pot with a UV-protected exterior for sunny spots can be made on request.\n\nThe wax sealer protects and enhances the finish but does not provide UV protection.
