Experience (and a few damp floors) allow me to offer some top tips...\nTOP TIPS:\n1. Sticks love to poke things and make holes - put an old sock on the thick end of the willow to protect the bag.\n2. Put the willow in the bag, thick end first, before filling with water.\n3. The seals are good but not invincible - lie the bags down in the bath, stand them in the shower or lie them down outside. Prop the open end up against a wall or the end of the bath.\n4. If you do get a hole in your bag, gaffer tape can help to block it.
