The series was inspired by the wonderful, intriguing and stimulating shapes that the groynes had been sculpted and carved into by the actions over years of the waves and the tides.\n\nGroynes, for those who don't know, are wooden structures erected on beaches to prevent beach erosion by the constant action of those waves and tides, so the waves, instead of washing away the beach, wear away the groynes.\n\nThe way that the waves had shaped this groyne always reminded us of a bird diving into the sea to feed, so we added a drawing of a fish being caught by our bird to complete the image. \n\nThe groyne, bird and fish image is printed onto photographic paper and applied over the design on the card. The original photo of the groyne is printed on the back of the card.\n\nThe card is 135mm square, and will be sent by second-class post.\n\nThe item code is 23-Diving Bird/Ph\n","brand":"silver grey sports club","product_id":8654836,"availability":"in stock","quantity":1,"product_expiration":"2027-01-14T13:44:56+00:00","images":["https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-1ee66700f9bf6a82642731da2a55c68e-diving-bird-greetings-card-printed-on-card-and-photographic-paper-silver-grey-sports-club/public","https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-64cfb5ef8be84c7e99784ade8ae8a4b3-diving-bird-greetings-card-printed-on-card-and-photographic-paper-silver-grey-sports-club/public"]}
