It is the second artwork in my Mondrian collection.\n\nMoving to London changed my art. The English gardens are very structured and always alive. It is a beautiful change from the long, sleeping winters I know from Canada.\n\nI named this piece after the beautiful Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park. I carefully arranged real petals from gerberas, carnations, roses, daisies, lilies, and amaranth. The rich purple and pink colours are separated by soft gold lines. It is a lovely mix between the comfort of nature and modern design.\n\nSize: 16x25 cm artwork in a 32x42 cm deep box frame.\n\nMaterials: Dried petals (Gerbera, Carnation, Rose, Daisy, Lily, Amaranth), birch wood, gold leaf, and eco-label acrylic paint.\n\nGlass: I used AR 92 anti-reflective glass. It is also museum-quality and invisible, so you can see the contrast between the soft petals and the shiny gold lines perfectly.\n\nNatural Evolution: This is a living piece. The organic petals will change color slowly over time, while the gold grid remains perfect. This is the beauty of nature meeting geometry.\n\nDate: May 2026.\n\nI hope the Isabella piece brings a warm and natural feeling to your home.
