This pot was handmade from stoneware clay using coil and pinch techniques and finished in a sea foam blue glaze. The interior of the pot is clear glazed and there are 4 air holes on the rear of the pot. It measures 10.5cm to the top of the knob and the opening is 5 3/4cm wide. The pot fits 2 small/medium bulbs of garlic.\n\nThe reason that I enjoy making by hand is that each piece is unique and individual. When only hands are used to craft a pot, each one will be a slightly different size and shape, and have different marks left in it, giving the owner a meaningful connection to the maker and the knowledge that the item they are using was happily made by another person.\n\nThis piece was made by Tim.
