On several occasions I have been asked if it is possible to have additional threads, so my kits now in include:\r\n- 2 x 16 mm rings, 2 x 19mm rings and one 25mm ring (the colour and type of the rings may differ from the photos but the diameter remains the same)\r\n- two DMC Coton Broder skeins of thread size 16 \r\n- a tapestry needle\r\n- detailed instructions on how to make a Dorset Cartwheel Button also called a Crosswheel button.\r\nThe thread comes in the following colours - ecru, pink, blue, green and lavender. Each kit will receive two skeins of threads - one from the list above and one white (Blanc which is not a brilliant white but a lovely vintage white).\r\nAll you need to do is supply your own scissors. \r\nSome monitors do not show colours the same way as mine so please take into consideration that colours may be slightly different.\r\nDorset Buttons originated in Shaftesbury in the 1620s. They became a major cottage industry in Dorset creating employment and income for many families. By the 1780s 4,000 women and children were employed in the industry.
