The pieces of glass have come from old bottles, including poison or medicine bottles. They are slightly curved and rounded by the waves, giving the surface a three-dimensional effect. We've added pretty glass beads to give extra detail to the hanger. The back of the mosaic is laser cut plywood. \r\n\r\nThe hanger is 4.5 cm high, 8 cm wide and 6 mm thick. It comes on a 7 cm cotton cord.  If you would prefer a longer cord please let us know the length you would like. \r\n \r\nOur mosaic hangers are individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches.  Each piece of glass is unique, so each hanger is unique.  We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.\r\n\r\nThe hanger will be delivered by Royal Mail.
