I use no paint to delineate the pattern but work freehand embroidery onto self colour cloth to make the plumage both on the front and the back of the doll. He has a tiny embroidered tail with her wings also heavily embroidered. Tom is dressed in a pretty Acufactum cotton waistcoat called Titmouse Time in a rich pattern of blue tits, great tits and their nests. He is dressed in plus fours and a silk cravat of his green cotton shirt. he carries a little embroidery hoop that is also embroidered. He has a little brass ring to his back so he can hang. He has a piece of citrine to his heart with rosemary in his stuffing for a gentle fragrance.\r\n\r\nHe is, as are all my dolls, warm and companiable with a touch of English whimsy. I hope he makes you smile.
