The wing was snapped off by the weight of the shelf placed on top (I didn't realise when I was loading the kiln that her wing was poking up higher than the shelf prop). Once bisque fired. I glazed her and replaced her in the kiln, wing separated but also glazed, then reunited them once fired with epoxy glue and a kintsugi style mend.\r\nShe can now hang on a wall, as intended, with no fear of further damage!\r\nRead on for more info:\r\nA hand sculpted angel wall piece.\r\nStoneware clay moulded and incised with mark making tools to create surface decoration. Painted with underglaze colours and fired to 1160 degrees centigrade.\r\nOnce fired the piece is embellished with gold coloured metal leaf.
