A piece of mirror glass has been cut to size and glued in. The central part of the map has been split so that Manchester lies to the right and Salford to the left. The whole has had a light protective varnish, although the original folds and wear marks can still be discerned. This would make a wonderful gift for someone proud of their Mancunian heritage and is a great talking point as it shows how the area has changed in nearly 80 years.
