Using a simple black cotton warp as the basis, the colours all come from the wide variety of yarns used in the weft - hand-spun wool, dyed fleece locks, ribbons of recycled ribbons of recycled sari silk and sari silk waste threads.The main colours gently blend and merge from orange and yellow at the top of the hanging, through whites, blues, teals to a range of green at the lower end. Complementary colours are included in small bursts of sari silk; and short extra warps in a irregular white slub cotton add vertical lines of loops in places. The occasional addition of sparkly thread to the weft catch the light.  A rod with a loop is inserted at the top for easy hanging of this decorative weaving. The hanging is 155 x 39 cm in size (excluding the fringe) , weighs 330g, and is not meant to be washed!
