I have strung them on silk: the traditional medium, and have knotted between each pearl, a classic technique that ensures a good drape and also security in the unlikely event that the silk breaks.\r\n\r\nI have finished the necklace with sterling silver findings: a tiny bead, French wire (gimp) and a trigger clasp.\r\n\r\nThe necklace is 47cms (about 18.5 ins) long.
