My wonderfully bright and cheerful interpretation in glass of an ammonite.\r\n\r\nI've placed a little faceted crystal in the centre and a bigger faceted teardrop crystal at the end of the swirl. \r\n\r\nThe ammonite shape is formed from 13 pieces of glass, all different colours, lots of streaks and textures and transitioning through the 7 colours of the rainbow. \r\n\r\nI've added a frame of twisted wire to give a more shell-like finish to the edge.\r\n \r\nThe colours are vibrant, the crystals glitter.  I am really very pleased with this design. The streaks in the glass give it an almost 3 dimensional effect.\r\n. \r\nThe suncatcher is 13cm x 12cm and it hangs from a sillver chain which is firmly attached via soldered wire rings to two points on the top.\r\n .. \r\nThis item is absolutely unique.
