When worn the peridot\r\ncharm often hangs in front of the daisy, giving the appearance of a sparkly\r\ncentre.  Peridot is the birthstone for August. Daisy is a birth flower for April.\r\n\r\nThis pendant is quite thin and flat   ( as opposed to some of the other pendants\r\nwhich are more chunky in style . ) I have not patinated the silver on this piece , \r\nso it retains it's natural silver colour. Some  people prefer this natural shiny silver,\r\n others prefer the effect of patination which darkens the piece a little but brings \r\nout the details of the plants. Its just a question of personal preference , so I treat\r\neach pendant according to what I think brings out the best in it. \r\nWith this daisy design the delicate details of the petals are clear to see without\r\n any additional treatment.\r\n\r\nPlease see the photo with the five pence coin for scale.\r\n\r\nThis piece has been made by hand using a mould made from a daisy in my garden and has an organic feel to it.
