The necklace uses a wood toggle and a loop in the suede necklace, similar to a duffle coat. The moon shape was designed by us and is handmade. It was cut by hand using a fret saw produce the shape and finally finished with a chisel and sandpaper. Initially the timbers were glued together with epoxy resin and the woods are laid as laminates, for the stability of the wood and the look of the pendant. The brown vegan friendly suede necklace is secured with a recycled hardwood toggle. \r\nThis necklace can be worn in one of two ways with the creamy white rippled sycamore wood side showing or the near black recycled Wenge wood showing depending on your mood. \r\nMeasurements: Suede Necklace Length 46cm. Pendant Height 4.85cm x 2.35cm width x 1.15cm depth. Weight: 8.05 grams \r\nThis necklace is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put in water or to near a heat source, they will discolour if left in direct sunlight. \r\nTo care for this item, feed the wood with wax or similar when required. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible.
