The stud ear-posts are rolled gold (also known as gold filled). Gold filled items have significantly more gold coating on them than gold plated and the coating is, consequently, much more durable. \r\n\r\nEach side of the triangle is 2.9 cms (1.1 ins) long. They are very light in weight – weighing around 2gms each. \r\n\r\nTo make these earrings I have used size 11 gold coloured and shiny black Miyuki Delica beads. They are made by a process called beadweaving, by which the beads are sewn together by strong Fireline beading thread (not unlike fishing line). \r\n\r\nThese earrings are strongly made but as the beads are glass they will break if crushed, so should be kept away from small children and situations where this might happen.\r\n\r\nI will post your earrings to you mounted on a card and wrapped in acid free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard postage box.\r\n\r\nWHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £5 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE.
