The earrings measure 44mm from the top of the hook to the bottom by 16mm across. The fordite is a well matched pair with a pattern of diagonal stripes in shades of orange, white and blue with some yellow and dark green sneaking in at the edges. The blue, silver and dark green sparkle (I've done my best to capture this in the photos). Comes gift boxed.\r\nFordite is the name given to many layers of cured car paint that builds up in spray booths at car factories. The paint gets baked hard in between each layer leading to a durable material that can be cut to show off the many colours. This particular material I have matched to the colour charts for Dodge in 1970 (yellow and orange are unusual colours so useful for matching to charts, the yellow is 'top banana' whilst the orange is rather more boringly called 'orange'). I cut this material myself  so if you love fordite but want something else making drop me a message.
