The colours are red, white and blue. I also made two 'linking' rings in red cotton thread worked over smaller brass rings. \r\n\r\nThe creation of Dorset buttons was originally a large cottage industry in Dorset, England between 1622 and 1850, after which they were overtaken by machine-made buttons.\r\n\r\nPatriotic Colours for Great Britain, France, Australia, New Zealand and USA.\r\n\r\nI also made a braid using the same colours and the Japanese Kumihimo technique. I have used nickel-free silver plated jewellery findings to attach the Dorset buttons to the braid and for the adjustable fixture at the back of the necklace. \r\n\r\nSIZE - The inner circumference can be adjusted from 18.5\" (47cm ) to 19.75\" (50cm)\r\n\r\nThis stylish necklace is my own design so it is truly unique.\r\n \r\nIf you would like me to make matching earrings, please feel free to contact me.
