The surfite has broad pastel strips of aqua blue and minty green with a little lilac and gold at the edges. These studs measure about 13mm across making them quite a eye catching but surfite is lightweight so they won't be heavy in your lobes (they are about 3mm thick excluding the length of the posts). Comes gift boxed.\r\nSurfite is a build up of cured resin that forms during surfboard manufacture making these earrings a great gift for a surfer. I cut this particular material myself (by hand because I couldn't find a band saw big enough!!!) and you can see the original block and a work in progress shot in the photos (the rough isn't included), the rough material came from Toy Factory Surfboards in Newquay, Cornwall.
