Ideal for a birthday or Mothers Day, this would also be a beautiful gift to send to a new mum. \r\n\r\nSample - cut from an offcut of crazy patchwork fabric made by me for another project, this lovely heart is decorated with hand embroidery and a vintage button.  \r\n\r\nLetterbox gift - your handcrafted heart will be wrapped in tissue and popped into a little cardboard box that fits through standard letterboxes.\r\n\r\nI can post direct - just leave the name and address in the options box. (UK addresses only.) You can also add a little message that I will print out and add to the box.\r\n\r\nSize - 4 inches (10 cm) without loop. \r\n\r\nThe front of the heart is hand cut from a patchwork fabric I created from floral and co-ordinating cotton prints in pinks and greens, and quilted in a basket weave effect. It is embroidered in green and pilk threads, and has a vintage pink button and white hanging ribbon. It is is backed with cerise felt and blanket stitched all the way round. \r\n\r\nMum is hand embroidered onto double layered 100% wool felt in pink and white, and fastens to the button with a cord. It can also be removed completely to use as a gift tag. \r\n\r\n\r\nCHARITY DONATION - I donate £1 from the sale of each of my handmade hearts to the British Heart Foundation.
