Coat colours created from recycled book pages and acrylic paint.\r\n\r\nThis purchase is for a set of 2 penguins - also available individually or in a set of 3 and in different colours\r\n\r\nMy little animal models are inspired by the stories I tell myself when I walk in the forest near my home and my childhood toys. I created these unusual, quirky sculptures because I wanted to decorate my bedroom with little woodland creatures, crooked wooden houses and miniature Canadian log cabins. I build these from recycled vintage book pages - I do not use any wire structure underneath, each sculpture is built entirely from the paper. I paint each animal carefully by hand. Each sculpture is unique in shape, appearance and character.\r\n\r\nMy animals are completely solid once all the layers of glue and paint are dry - they are light, not heavy to hold.
