This keepsake box is perfect for keeping small jewellery items safe on a bedside table, or just as a unique and original gift.\r\n\r\nThe main body of the box outer is made from a remnant of harris tweed. The lid is made from plain linen with a handpainted and appliquéd heart. The heart has been embroidered with metallic thread. The box is fully lined in wool felt in a co-ordinating turquoise. The lid fastens loosely with a thread loop and recycled button.\r\n\r\nThe handmade nature of this item means it has a rustic, raw edge look, with pokey out threads and fuzzy edges. This is entirely deliberate and is not a fault. Please ensure you are happy with the finish by checking the photographs carefully before you purchase.\r\n\r\nThis is a functional item but is not meant to withstand rough handling, so should be kept away from children and animals. The inner construction gives some rigidity, but it won’t survive being squashed. This box uses no plastic in the structural form.
