I have tweaked it slightly removing a tree and adding a  dog rose.\n\nA needle felt landscape - Through the Gate.\n\nWorked using the needle felting method on a piece of reclaimed wool blanket.  I started laying the wool fibres down beginning with the sky.  Hills and fields added next using blended greens. These fibres were firmly needlefelted onto the wool banket.  The gate and path details are needle felted onto the picture with wool curls for leaves and a bush to one side. Final touches of hand embroidery details.\n\nThe wool painting will be sent in the black frame  shown in the photos. \n\n\n\nFramed it measures 20 x 15 cm.  \n\nThe unframed artwork measures 5 x 7 ins and is unbacked and unedged.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n","brand":"Yorkshire Hare Crafts  - Textile and needlefelt artist.
