It is a hollow square shape with pretty chevron insets embellished with crystals.  Despite its size it is very lightweight due to its hollow structure and also the lightweight nature of the little glass delica beads from which it is made.\r\n\r\nEach side of the pendant is 5cms (2ins) long and the piece is about 3cms (1.2ins) deep at its widest part. It hangs from an 18ins long gold filled (also known as rolled gold) chain in a fine rollo design (circular links) finished with a bolt ring clasp. The pendant and chain together weigh 13gms.\r\n\r\nIt is made by a process called beadweaving, by which the beads are sewn together by strong beading thread (not unlike fishing line).
