The earrings measure approx 45mm by 16mm, they are lightweight with lots of swingy movement and come gift boxed.\r\nSurfite is cured epoxy resin waste that builds up as surfboards are being made, this was a very splattery build up with lots of drips which caused the pattern. The resin build up is normally considered a waste material but jewellers have started recycling it into colourful jewellery. I cut this material myself and this particular piece came from a workshop in Puerto Rico.
