The surfite has vertical stripes in shades of blue (the thickest is navy) and clear with thin stripes of green and purple running up the center. The settings have an open back so light can shine through the surfite if you have short hair or wear it in an up do, this changes the appearance of the surfite as the colours of the translucent bands show up more. These dangly earrings measure 56mm (from top of the hook) by 16mm but surfite is lightweight compared to traditional stones so they are not heavy in the ears. Comes gift boxed.\r\nSurfite is a build up of cured resin that forms during surfboard manufacture making these earrings a great gift for a surfer. I cut this particular material myself and you can see the original block and a work in progress shot in the photos (the rough isn't included), the rough material came from Toy Factory Surfboards in Newquay, Cornwall.
