The word is punched from the metal foil, laid out in the position we want and the whole lot is capped with a piece of clear glass, again hand-cut to shape. They are fired to around 800C in our kiln, which fuses the glass into a single piece and rounds off all the corners. Once they are cooled we add little rubber feet to the base to protect your surfaces and provide stability.\r\n\r\nThe coaster is 10 cm square and is food-safe. It can be wiped with a damp cloth as necessary, but please don't subject it to the dishwasher.\r\n\r\nWe have a number of different colours and designs available elsewhere in the shop.
