The stars are hand painted and there is a slight touch of watercolour to give definition to the girls features.\r\n\r\nI have included a photograph of a Collagraph plate process from start to finish.  \r\n\r\nA collagraph plate is made from firm card (mount board) and you collage it using textured materials. Ranging from wallpapers, old bits of netting from fruit bags, fabrics, tape really anything which is flat enough to go through a press.  You can cut into the card to make interesting mark making.
