It has a high gloss surface and is food-safe.\r\n\r\nIt is approximately 20 cm long, 11 cm wide and is made from 4 pieces of glass - The base made from 2 pieces of streaky Salmon Pink glass with a stripe of streaky Cranberry Red glass fitted in between. The whole base is capped by a piece of clear glass. The piece is baked at around 800 C in the kiln. The kiln controls the heating and cooling, ensuring that all stresses are removed from the glass, making it safe and strong for you.
