The earrings start with a flat base layer of clay, hand mixed to make a granite effect.  On top of this is hand made individual pieces, carefully layered to create a 'slab' effect - including acorn coffee cups, pumpkins and leaves.  This is then cut into various shapes for the different pairs of earrings, each piece is carefully sanded around the edges for a smooth finish..  \r\n\r\nIn styles 4 and 5 a gold plated jump hoop attaches the two pieces and gold plated stud posts secured onto the top piece.  Secured with a rubber back\r\nStyles 1, 2 and 3 are fixed onto gold plated hooks.\r\n\r\nDue to the nature of the material, the earrings are extremely lightweight, making them perfect for any ear lobes!\r\n\r\nPlease message if you would like your own commission made!\r\n\r\nAll items are handmade in Britain by myself. Price is for ONE pair of earrings, just ONE OF EACH STYLE AVAILABLE\r\n\r\nCARE INSTRUCTIONS:\r\n\r\n-All fixings are silver/gold plated, so are NOT sterling silver or gold Carat.
