This bird has a opal glass body and a decorated white and silver opaque wing. It looks lovely in a window and would make a wonderful gift. \r\n\r\nTo make this bird, I hand cut 2 bird shapes and fused them overnight in my kiln. The next day, I have added a beak and an eye and a white opaque wing which I've decorated with silver dichroic glass dots. The bird then goes back into the kiln again to tack fuse the eye, beak and wing onto the body. This time, the kiln is set on a lower temperature so the wing, eye and beak are slightly proud from the glass, giving it a 3D effect. \r\n\r\nComes ready to hang on a silver wire.\r\n\r\nItem comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string.
