{"url":"https://folksy.pro/items/7782128-handmade-ceramic-and-sterling-silver-waves-drop-earrings","title":"Handmade ceramic and sterling silver Waves drop earrings","price":19.5,"currency_code":"GBP","provider_name":"Folksy","description":"These dainty earrings have a design of waves pressed into the wet clay, which have been painted different shades of blue and turquoise.\r\n\r\nAs with all my jewellery they are made and decorated entirely by hand.\r\n\r\nAfter forming the drops from fine white clay, I imprint the designs. When dry, I sand the sides and back, round off the corners to ensure they are super smooth to the touch. They then have their first firing. Next I paint them using under-glazes and apply a transparent glaze before firing again to earthenware. The ceramic is glazed all over so is very smooth whilst retaining the texture of the imprinted design. The result is a pleasantly tactile item.\r\n\r\nThe ear wires are sterling silver.\r\n\r\nThis is a one-off listing, the earrings in the photographs are the actual pair you will receive.\r\n\r\nEach drop is 10mm across, a little under half an inch.\r\n\r\nAll my jewellery comes in attractive eco-friendly boxes.\r\n\r\nMatching items are available – if there’s nothing currently listed just ask! The final picture shows some pendants and other earrings with this wave design.\r\n\r\nI can also make to order, so if you would like something similar, but a different colour or shape please get in touch.
