Inspired by my love of nature and wildlife. \r\n\r\nTo make this piece, I hand cut very thin copper foil with a scalpel, to make the flower stem and centre. The copper turns a lovely deep red in the kiln. I then added specialist glass paint which turns into tiny bubbles in the firing. I then fused it overnight slowly in my kiln. Once cooled and washed, I added glass leaves, coloured and dichroic dots which I have made previously to give some added interest to the design. A second firing is done overnight at a slightly lower temperature so the details remain standing proud of the glass, giving it a 3D effect.\r\n\r\nPerfect on a window sill, or on a mantlepiece.\r\n\r\n18cm x 7.5cm x 4.5cm.\r\n\r\nItem comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string.
