I use tones of turquoise, orange and pink in my fused glass panel inspired by alliums, dandelions and daisies. This looks lovely either on a window sill with light flooding through it or on a mantelpiece. Each panel is completely unique.\r\n\r\nTo make it, I used art glass and cut 2 pieces of transparent glass the same shape and size. I then hand cut copper foil with a scalpel, add it to the art glass, add powdered glass and specialist paints which turn into bubbles in the kiln and fuse it slowly overnight. Once completely cooled, I then add coloured and dichroic dots which I have made previously to give some added interest to the design. A second firing is done overnight the next day to tack fuse the dots onto the design, so that they stand proud of the glass, giving it a 3D effect. I then glue it securely into a solid oak plinth which allows the panel to stand up.\r\n\r\nPerfect on a window sill, or in front of a candle.\r\n\r\n19cm x 15cm x 4.5cm.\r\n\r\nItem comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string. A gift message can be included, just contact me to let me know.\r\n\r\nGlass is very hard to photograph, so your item may look slightly different to how it does on screen.
