These fused glass squares make wonderful small gifts, perhaps for a bird lover and look lovely hung in a window.\r\n\r\nTo make these glass hangings, I start with cutting 2 squares of transparent art glass. I then use a scapel and cut my delicate bird and twig design out of very thin copper foil. I then make a little wire ring to hang the square. The ring and copper bird are sandwiched between the glass squares and fired overnight in my kiln. The heat of the kiln turns the copper a lovely deep red colour. When completely cooled and washed, I add the hanging wire.\r\n\r\nTransparent glass with handcut copper foil bird captured inside. Each design is handcut, therefore no 2 are exactly the same. One Supplied. \r\n\r\nComes ready to hang on a silver wire. \r\n\r\nItem comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string.
