They are from a range of colourful, coordinating heart shaped accessories. \r\n\r\nAs with all my jewellery they are made and decorated entirely by hand.\r\n\r\nAfter forming the studs from fine white clay, I imprint the designs. When dry, I sand the sides and round off the corners to ensure they are super smooth to the touch. They then have their first firing. Next I paint them using under-glazes and apply a transparent glaze before firing again to earthenware. The ceramic is glazed on the front and sides and are very smooth whilst retaining the texture of the imprinted design. The result is a pleasantly tactile item.\r\n\r\nThe posts and backs of the studs are sterling silver\r\n\r\nThis is a one-off listing, the earrings in the photographs are the actual pair you will receive.\r\n\r\nEach stud is approximately 8mm across the widest point (about a third of an inch). \r\n\r\nAll my jewellery comes in a hand-stamped box.\r\n \r\nMatching items are available – if there’s nothing currently listed just ask!\r\n\r\nI can also make to order.
