The outer is from a collection called Enchanted Forest, designed by Betsy Olmsted for Windham fabrics. I've interfaced it with woven cotton for strength and longevity, as well as a layer of fleece to make the whole thing feel nice in your hand and give some protection to the contents. The lining is a lovely bright pink shade and I've hand stitched the purse to an engraved bronze metal frame using some toning perle cotton.\r\n\r\nIt makes a great gift for any wildlife or woodland lover and would also be a great way to present a cash gift.\r\n\r\nThe purse measures 8cm (3.25 inches) across at the top of the frame and 10cm (4 inches) across at the bottom, where I've boxed off the corners to give a little depth to the bottom of the purse of 3.5cm (1.5 inches). It stands a little over 9cm (3.5 inches) tall, which is just right to carry a credit card or two, as well as cash, if you wish to.\r\n\r\nYou can add a wristlet strap to this purse if you wish to - please see this separate listing for full details in the 'coin purses' collection.
