It is actually based on a Sheffield scene (looking through from the bottom of Shirebrook Road in Meersbrook to Valley Road and Brook Road), but I wanted to make the image more as a typical British terrace street scene; the patterns of windows, rooftops, chimneys, doors, clouds and trees.\r\n\r\nGolden yellow and dark blue System 3 inks on off-white 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 90, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.\r\n\r\nThe print image measures H15xW8cm.\r\n\r\nThe paper measures H30xW21cm\r\n\r\nAll prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
