There are 13 different textured designs featured, some are traditional designs and some my own.  The designs are all on the theme of meadows and fields.  You will need a cable needle for some of the designs and others involve bobbles and twisted stitches.  The instructions are written, there are no charts to follow in this pattern.  The pattern instructions are for the blankets as they appear in the images, but they can be re-arranged as desired or the blanket made smaller or larger.  The squares can be knitted in strips from bottom to top then sewn together vertically.  The edging is sewn on last. \r\n\r\nAll the blankets in my Baby Blankets collection are constructed in the same way and each square has the same number of stitches and rows so that there is plenty of scope for re-arranging to your own liking.   \r\n\r\nMaterials required: 1 pair 3.25mm knitting needles, a cable needle.\r\nRowan Cotton Glace 100% cotton: small blanket 5 x 50g balls; medium blanket 8 x 50g balls; large blanket 10 x 50g balls.\r\n\r\nThe PDF pattern will be sent to you as an attachment to an email.
