The first plate was used to create the background and woodland leaves. The second plate was used to create the owl itself. Both plates used the reduction method where the plate is printed and then the image is cut away and printed again until the artwork is complete. Because of the hand printing process each and every print is slightly different.\r\n\r\nLimited Edition of 25, (plus 5 Artists Proofs), once these are all sold that's the edition finished.
