When switched on, the l.e.d. gradually changes colour over about 30 seconds and then the sequence repeats. Placing a cut-glass tea light holder or tumbler over the l.e.d. enhances the display.\r\n\r\nPlease have a look at a working version of the \"L.E.D. Surprise 2\" circuit on the Irby Electronics YouTube channel. \r\n\r\nWhen this circuit was tested, a set of Duracell Plus Power batteries was still producing a good light output after 140 hours of continuous use.  \r\n\r\nThe circuit is made on track board (approx. 6 cm x 2 cm) and requires 3 x AA batteries (not supplied). Soldering is ESSENTIAL for this kit.
