They have come from old poison or medicine bottles. Each piece is from a corner where two sides meet, or where the side meets the bottom of the bottle, and this has determined their shape. The thickness of the glass means they are a beautiful deep blue. We have added some pink glass beads to lighten the piece and provide a contrast to the strength of the blue. \r\n\r\nThe necklace has been completed with silver plate chain and is 52 cm long.  If you would prefer a shorter or longer necklace (up to 70 cm) please let us know the length you would like. The longest piece of glass is 3.2 cm long and 9 mm thick.\r\n\r\nOur necklaces are made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches.  Each piece of glass is unique, so each necklace is unique.  Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of the charm of beach glass jewellery.  We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges  (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.\r\n\r\nThe necklace will be delivered by Royal Mail.
