The oak original, some 13 inches high dates from the Bronze Age and was found at Kingsteignton.  There is a theory that it depicts the Norse God Thor.  It's a precious find as so little wood survives in damp Britain.  Imagine my surprise when I went round the corner at Archaeon in Holland (a fabulous archaelogical theme park - DO GO) and came face to face with a 6 foot wooden replica!  I've textured the copper to resemble the wood grain.  Strung on a brown woven cotton thong.  Comes to you in a gift bag with designer logo label.
